When moving from Owl Practice to Mynd, the following data can be imported:

Non-Session Notes
Important: Billing data cannot be imported due to the complexity of the information and differences in formats across software platforms. Please ensure to store your billing data securely.
Exporting Your Clients and Sessions
Log into Owl Practice
Ensure you are logged in as the account owner using a computer.
Navigate to Data Export
From your Dashboard, go to Data Export.
Export Client List
Click on Client Export to download your full client list. Select as many options as possible to include detailed client data. Export the data in CSV or Excel format.
Export Sessions
Choose a date range for past and future sessions, and use the Session Export feature from the Dashboard to download the session records in CSV or Excel format.
Exporting Session Notes from Owl Practice Unfortunately, Owl Practice does not offer a batch export option for session notes. You'll need to export them individually for each client.
Go to Client Profile
From the client’s profile page, click Client Export.
Export Session Notes
Ensure Session Notes are selected, choose a date range, and click Export.
Zip Your Client Files
Place each client’s folder (containing their session notes) into a single folder and compress it into a zip file for easy uploading to Mynd.
Export Non-Session Notes
Don't forget to select Non-Session Notes if you wish to include them in the import.
Once your data has been exported from Jane, the next step is to import it into Mynd. Follow these easy steps to ensure a smooth transition:
Step 1: Log into your Mynd account.
Step 2: Navigate to Client Settings and select Import Data.
Step 1: Choose Owl Practice as the platform you're migrating from.
Step 2: Click Upload Data and select the exported files (patient information, appointments, charts, etc.) from your device.
Mynd allows you to upload multiple files at once, including CSV files for patient information and appointments, and PDF/Excel files for chart notes.
Our team will then process the files and add your data to the platform, this usually takes 24 hours. You will be notified via email once complete.
After your data has been successfully imported into Mynd, it's important to review all your records:
Check patient records: Ensure all details are accurate and up-to-date.
Verify appointments: Confirm that all past bookings are intact.
Review chart notes: Make sure practitioner notes are accurately transferred.
