After completing a session, Mynd makes it easy to charge clients, manage invoices, and send receipts. Here’s how:
1. Mark the Session as Arrived
• Arrive Status: After the session ends, mark it as “Arrived” to make it ready for billing.
2. Charging for the Session
• Charging Options: You can charge the client from multiple locations within Mynd:
• Appointment Details Page: Navigate here to view the session details, where you’ll find the charge option.
• Billing Page: Go to the Billing page to see any pending payments and charge from there.
• Preview Invoice: If needed, download the invoice to review before charging.
3. Payment Methods
• Choose Payment Type: Select how to process the payment:
• Credit Card and Credits: Use stored credit card and available credits.
• Cash and Credits: Use available credits and mark the remainder as a cash payment.
• Receipt Option: Decide whether to email the receipt to the client.
4. Group Sessions (Split Payments)
• Arrive Status for Group Sessions: Mark the group session as “Arrived.”
• Payment Options: You’ll see options to either:
• Charge the Primary Client: Bill only the main client on the appointment.
• Split Payment: Split the payment equally among all or selected participants.
• Partial Payments: If only some clients are charged, Mynd will show a “Partially Paid” status, indicating the remaining balance.
5. Confirming Payment
• Complete the Charge: Once you finalize the payment, Mynd updates the session status to “Paid.”
• Receipts: Both the therapist and the client receive an emailed receipt after the payment is processed.
This setup streamlines the billing process, whether for individual or group sessions, allowing for efficient payment handling directly within Mynd.
