Using the Scheduler Calendar View
The Scheduler is a central part of Mynd, designed to help therapists manage their weekly appointments efficiently. Here’s how to make the most of its features:
1. Viewing the Calendar
• Today Button: Snaps the view back to today’s date, useful if you’ve navigated weeks or months into the future.
• Day, Week, and Month Views: Toggle between day, week, and month views to see specific details or get an overview of upcoming appointments.
2. Creating Appointments and Shifts
• Create Appointment: Click anywhere on the calendar or use the dedicated Schedule Appointment button to create a new appointment.
• Shifts: Define your available hours (e.g., 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.). Shifts control when clients can self-book appointments.
3. Google Calendar Integration
• Google Calendar Overlay: Enable this feature to view personal Google Calendar events within Mynd, helping avoid conflicts between personal and professional schedules. (See the Help Center for details on connecting Google Calendar.)
4. Setting Breaks
• Adding Breaks: Use breaks to block off personal time during scheduled shifts.
• Example: If you’re normally available from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. but need time off from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., add a break during those hours.
• Benefit: Breaks automatically remove that time from client booking availability without needing to edit the shift itself.
• Client View Impact: Breaks ensure clients won’t see blocked times as available, maintaining accurate booking options.
The Scheduler in Mynd combines flexible viewing options, appointment creation, shift management, and break scheduling, making it a comprehensive tool for managing therapy schedules effectively.
