Setting Up and Adjusting Booking Policies
Mynd’s booking policy settings allow therapists to control how far in advance clients can book, cancel, or reschedule appointments, adding flexibility and structure to the scheduling process.
1. Accessing Booking Policy Settings
• Go to Settings and select Booking Policy to manage your practice’s booking rules.
2. Setting Rescheduling and Cancellation Policies
• Edit Rescheduling and Cancellation Rules:
• Rescheduling/Cancellation Time: Choose how far in advance clients can reschedule or cancel their appointments. Options include any time, 24 hours, 48 hours, or 72 hours before the appointment.
• Automatic or Manual Approval for Rescheduling:
• Automatic Approval: Allows clients to reschedule without additional approval.
• Manual Approval: Sends a reschedule request to you for review and approval.
3. Adjusting Advance Booking Requirements
• Booking Lead Time for First Appointments:
• Control how far in advance new clients must book their first appointment.
• Options include any time, 24 hours, 48 hours, or 72 hours before the appointment.
• This is helpful if you want to avoid same-day bookings or need more preparation time.
4. Adding a Booking Policy Statement
• Custom Statement: Add a custom message about your booking policy to provide clients with additional details specific to your practice.
By setting up these booking policies, you can better manage your schedule while providing clients with clear guidelines on booking, rescheduling, and cancellations.
