Setting Up Shifts on Mynd’s Therapist Scheduler
Mynd’s shift feature allows therapists to define availability, specify services, and control how new and existing clients can book appointments.
1. Accessing Shifts
• Go to the Scheduler and select Shifts to open the shift editor, where you can set your available hours and assign booking rules.
2. Creating a Shift
• Set Shift Hours: Choose your start and end time for each shift.
• Repeat Options: If the shift repeats weekly, set a recurring schedule (e.g., every Tuesday).
3. Choosing the Location
• Location Options: Select where the session will be held (e.g., Mynd Video for virtual sessions, Office, or both).
4. Selecting Services for the Shift
• Choose Services: Pick the services available during the shift, such as Individual Therapy, Discharge Session, or Couples Therapy.
• Group Sessions Note: For group services (e.g., Couples Therapy), clients must contact to book rather than self-book, due to the need for multiple participants.
5. Setting Booking Preferences
• Client Portal Booking (Existing Clients): Use this setting to allow only current clients to book certain sessions through their client portal.
• Public Booking Calendar (New Clients): Use this setting to control visibility for new clients on the landing page, typically limited to initial consultations.
6. Example Setup
• Existing Client Shift (e.g., 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.):
• Client Portal Only: Make individual, discharge, and couples therapy sessions bookable for existing clients.
• New Client Shift (e.g., 5 p.m. - 6 p.m.):
• Public Booking Only: Make initial consultations available for new clients, visible on the public booking calendar.
7. Saving and Viewing Shifts
• Save Changes: Once shifts are set, save to activate the schedule.
• View Schedule: Shifts now appear on the calendar, with different booking options for new and existing clients based on your settings.
This setup lets you manage client bookings effectively, ensuring smooth scheduling for both new and existing clients.
