Configuring Mynd Notetaker Settings
The Mynd Notetaker automatically transcribes and generates clinical notes from therapy sessions between therapists and clients. Here’s how to configure the settings to make sure Mynd Notetaker works perfectly for your sessions.
1. Accessing Mynd Notetaker Settings
• Go to your Settings page.
• Select Mynd Notetaker Settings. Here, you’ll see several options to customize the notetaking experience.
2. Enabling Automatic Start
• Option: Automatically Start Mynd Notetaker
• Description: This setting allows Mynd Notetaker to start automatically when both you and your client join the call, provided the client has given consent.
• Steps:
• Click the checkbox for automatic start to enable it.
• Hit Save.
• Purpose: This feature helps ensure the session is recorded from the beginning. If automatic start is not enabled, you’ll need to start Mynd Notetaker manually, and any missed start could lead to gaps in the recording.
3. Choosing a Notetaking Template
• Option: Select Notetaking Template
• Available Templates:
• SOAP (Subjective, Objective, Assessment, Plan) – widely used in behavioral health.
• DAP (Data, Assessment, Plan).
• GIRP (Goals, Intervention, Response, Plan).
• BIRP (Behavior, Intervention, Response, Plan).
• Mynd Notetaker Template – a lightweight, simplified template created based on therapist feedback.
• Steps:
• Review each template to see which fits your style best.
• Select your preferred template and click Save.
• Note: You can preview an example session recorded in each template style to see how your notes will appear.
4. Saving and Viewing Notes
• After saving your settings, the selected template will apply to future sessions.
• Once a session is complete, the output notes will be available in the Appointment Details and Client Notes page for review and any needed edits.
